The psychedelic beat outfit return with new single Nothing Is Real, taken from their forthcoming EP, Baltic States. Listen to the track now over at Gold Flake Paint.

Elias, David and Iven, who make up the trio, explain in their own words about lead single Nothing Is Real: “We created a small recording studio in a beat-up VW Camper van and travelled around Europe, writing along the way. We visited Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and gained a lot of inspiration from the beautiful landscapes. Nothing Is Real incorporates our love for lo-fi sounds and worldly percussive beats. It has a charismatic bass line, a solid afrobeat-esque drum groove and synths that dance and float around. The vocal samples and vocals are pretty simple, which worked great for us in that context. Lyrically, it’s a symbiosis of two topics: one is making decisions, especially those related to being a musician. The other one is about social and political issues and how people of our generation choose to deal with them.”

The Baltic States EP is released via Heist or Hit on Friday 26th August.
