Lyrics bend towards the literary and historic to pique the bohemian ear while romantic reverie quicksteps over the hot-coals of melancholy. Over the course of the track, military parade drums ring out like gunshot before giving way to a loose doo-wop rockabilly swing complete with twisting guitars and pristine backing vocals.
