Cutscene sign to Heist or Hit and release Concrete Line, a single full of power and intent.
Crackling with purpose, Seb Mason (vocals/guitar), Jack Ellis (bass), Jacob Shotton (guitar), and Ollie Little (drums) come together to create euphoria. Their first release on Heist or Hit Concrete Line’ sounds taut, paranoid and anxious. Brutalist guitars soar, like a tidal wave of council houses flanking a town. The inevitable demolition comes from vocalist Seb Mason’s voice. A pause of angelic stillness, glassy, ghostly, and deeply emotive. It perfectly captures the narcotic paralysis of small-town consciousness, briefly punctured by euphoric escape, before routine reasserts its dull tyranny.
“This track presents a character who is on a single track, someone living in a small town. The idea was conceptualised after equating the feeling of being ‘stoned’ to the paralysis people feel in modern urban centres where nothing new or exciting really happens. The ‘concrete line’ represents that stuck-in-stone mindset, that constant, unchanging, cynical stream of consciousness.”
Having already amassed fans and gained widespread buzz, the sky seems to be the limit for the newcomers.
