MLEKO Announce Debut EP ’The Feast of St Perpetua’ on Vinyl

Manchesters seven-piece metalified neo-folk noise wizards announce debut EP The Feast of St Perpetua on limited vinyl.

Emerging from sideways forever-rain and static hum of the post-industrial hangover of the North, Manchester’s seven-piece MLEKO prepare to share their debut EP The Feast of St Perpetua.

The group rarely seen without their Gubs transcend live, their stage presence is both iconic and spiritual. Here, verse-chorus structures are very much subject to subsidence and in their place an abundance of sonic intrigue, counterpoint and beauty. For all their melodic richness, the band doesn’t always offer a comforting antivenom to their lyrical brutality; instead, they lean in harder. Saxophone and trumpet weaponised.

Having cut their teeth in Manchester’s vibrant local venues, including a sold out audience at the iconic Castle Hotel, MLEKO are slowly growing their influence across the UK. With a number of shows in London already played, and with many more in the diary, they are certainly not an act to miss out on.
