pyncher made up by Sam, Harvey, Britt and Rainbow release Oh Boy alongside the announcement of their EP I Really Mean It This Time coming out June 19th. The quartet find themselves as a central part of a revitalised Manchester music scene – falling in with Westside Cowboy, TTSSFU, Martial Arts and more, drawing eyes to the city.
‘I’m just a big fat loser with my head sticking over the fence’. Full-bodied and potent, the riff is a menace. It enters lip curled, smirking and snarling over an electrifying beat reminiscent of DJ Shadow ripping through samples of military drums on an MPC.
“This song is about feelings I can’t really explain. I feel disconnected from people a lot, and it’s about the cyclical patterns that can come from being unable to communicate properly.”
