In the immortal words of Ross from ‘Friends’: “We were on a break!” The ever-evolving landscape of the music industry is built on shifting sands but throw a global pandemic into the pot and anything goes.
While we were sad to lose Nature TV to the bite of circumstance, it has made the reunion even sweeter. One contract and a few beers later, we arrive at new single: Illusions – a dose of bleached out yacht rock with a Postcard Records aesthetic. Jumping off with a splashy blend of sun-glinting soft soul and tender, mournful melancholy, the ripples emanating from the band’s four-minute pep talk on finding truth in the fog of modern life radiate out towards a brand-new EP, set for release this Autumn.
