Setting out a combative stall in this vein, they lurch from spluttering, fuzz-laden behemoths channelling Pixies-esque loud-and-quiet dynamics, to twee-pop and Latin inflected riffage, 80s-children-show vibes veering seriously off-script and false-sense-of-security-saccharine-meets-blast-your-head-off-rehearsal-space-freak-out. Thrillingly chaotic, gloriously grimy and hell bent on fucking shit up, these Merseysiders specialise in zany visuals, dress-up couture, sketchball storylines and freakadelic artwork.
