I REALLY MEAN IT THIS TIME

The feeling of being different is imbued in the band’s DNA: “I write a lot about feeling alone and being different to everyone else” confesses lead vocalist Sam Blakeley. “I think that is my way of getting it all out there. I like to write about where I’m from – Steyning, West Sussex. It’s a funny place and some of the characters in my songs live there. It’s a fun place to be an observer, as it’s quite isolated from the real world.”  However, what may feel like a limitation on a personal level, is actually a superpower.
