DESCRIPTION
The debut collection from Skint and Demoralised is effectively the diary of a love-struck Northern teenager. Lyrics were written on the back of a Radio Times in a dining room in Wakefield, kettle on and thin compression of a builder’s radio in the background. Live instrumentals were later added in New York courtesy of The Dap Kings. A pleasurable mix of knock-about harmonies, quotable lyrics and lively choruses. Radio-friendly pop poetry.
