SENTIMENT

A lo-fi Pixies-esque grunge anthem, that provides a gnarlier flipside to the naturalistic rootsy elements of Two Blinks’ debut EP. Whilst the distortion is dialled up, it still falls in line with Liam Brown’s stated aim of operating within a more limited and raw space instrumentally. Within the glitching electricity of guitars peaking the needle, a banjo line cuts a path through the overgrown distortion to lead the melody home. Sentiment is raw and loud, the vocal a catharsis. It all serves as an introduction to the flip side of the Two Blinks’ coin.
